
The Acting Camp is the week of July 6 through July 10th. It will be held from 9:30 until 2:30 PM at the Red Barn. There will be a break for lunch from 11:30 to 12:30 everyday.
The Camp Director this year is Claire Wisniewski and her assistant is Allison Bennett. Both Claire and Allison are well known on the Island. Claire was the Assistant to a para professional and teacher at the Washington Island School for the past two years. For several years, Claire was a Naturalist at the Art and Nature Center and will be working again in the Nature Room this summer. Allison will be a senior at the Washington Island School next year. Allison was recently in the school play, “Rogue’s Gallery,” and has been in other school and Island Players Productions. Allison is a member of the Island Players Board.
Claire is a graduate of Knox College and is working towards a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Claire attended the Island Players Acting Camp as a pre-teen and worked as the Assistant to the Director at the camp in her last year at the camp. Claire has been in acting and singing groups throughout her life.
