Island Players will again offer Acting Camp this summer. There will be one session for 9-13 year old children. There is a limit of 15 children. So, sign up as soon as you can.

Behind The Scenes

Island Players Sponsors Acting Camp the week of July 6-10

Island Players is looking for kids from ages 9-13 years old who want to spend a week of fun! Camp participants will learn the acting skills of body language, mime, tone and projection of your voice and improvisation. The week will end with a performance using all these newly learned skills. Parents, family and the Island community are encouraged to attend the performance.

Dear Rhoda Returns to Washington Island

On June 27 seven members of the professional theatre ensemble The Shakespeare Project of Chicago, will perform a theatrical reading of scenes from the play Dear Rhoda written by Washington Island residents Donna Russell and David Ranney at the Trueblood Performing Arts Center on Washington Island. Russell and Ranney’s play has been adapted and will be directed by the ensemble’s artistic director, Peter Garino.
