Island Players will be hosting a Murder Mystery Theater Dinner at Karly’s Dance Hall on Saturday, November 7, 2026 with a new format.
The format will be different from previous years. Eight actors will perform the mystery play. There will be breaks to give clues to the audience between the three courses of the dinner. The whole audience discusses the play and in the end each audience member votes on who did it. A drawing of audience members who guess right will happen with prizes awarded to the drawing winners.
The Mystery Theatre theme is "Secrets of the Silver Screen." It is set in the Golden Age of Hollywood. Audience members are encouraged to dress according to the theme of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Think Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Bacall. You get the idea and of course, you can come as you are.
